The Domaine Philippe Girard is located in Verdigny, one of the most renowned wine village of Sancerre. At the time of the French Revolution in 1789, wine was grown on the estate, but only consumed by the family itself, or allocated to really good friends. Today’s generation owns 16 acres of Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Located along the banks of the river Loire, to the east of Bourges, the Sancerre vineyard stretches over 2,770 hectares.
