Bramare Malbec Lujan De Cuyo 2021, Mendoza, Argentina

The wines of Vina Cobos are the result of a shared dream inspired by the passion of an American winemaker (Paul Hobbs), and two partners from a wine-producing culture deeply rooted in European traditions. Lujan de Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina is known historically as the “premier zone” for wine-growing in Mendoza. Its high elevation location (3,018-3,537 ft), in combination with a semi-desert climate and low-nutrient, stony soils provide ideal conditions for cultivation of high quality fruit. Deep ruby red color with purple tones. Aromas of red and black fruit with hints of sweet spices. On the palate it has concentration and sweet rounded tannins. Long finish. Aged 18 months in French oak barrels, 20% in first use. Unfined.
