Domaine Chanson Beaune Clos des Mouches 1er Cru Blanc 2019, Burgundy, France

Site: Chanson is one of the major owners of Clos des Mouches with a vineyard of 4.5 hectares. A sunny Terroir which benefits from an ideal location on the hill at the southern end of the vineyards of Beaune on a spur pointing toward Pommard . A plot of 2 hectares on the upper side of the hill is planted with Chardonnay on a limestone subsoil covered with sand. The white wines develop aromas of exotic fruit mixed with floral fragrances. Aging in oak casks during 11 months. Tasting: Gold color. Subtle floral fragrances (Acacia and hawthorn) Delicate, soft and fleshy. Taut aftertaste with notes of mild Indian spices.
