The 2022 Magician Riesling comes from Evergreen Vineyard in the Ancient Lakes AVA, located high above the Columbia River near George, WA. 2022 saw a long growing season, with a cool, wet spring leading up to a warm summer, followed by a picture-perfect harvest in October. The grapes in 2022 were beautifully balanced, with incredible vibrancy and tension paired with gorgeous notes of peach blossom, green apples, honeysuckle, and a hint of petrol notes. This wine is virtually bone dry, with just 2 g/L of residual sugar.The racy acidity makes this the perfect pairing with spicy foods like Thai, Indian, and even BBQ!
