Vignerons de Buxy Bourgogne Cote Chalonnaise Pinot Noir ” Buissonnier” 2021, Burgundy, France

The Cave des Vignerons de Buxy was created thanks to the determination of the Cote Chalonnaise winegrowers to pool their talents in a common project and make their wine, tend to their vines and sell and market their produce together: The story behind this adventure is one of a human and social endeavor stretching back over 80 years. Situated in the heart of wine-growing Burgundy, the Cote Chalonnaise is ideally placed to convey every nuance of the region. Our range of Buissonnier wines is produced from selected vineyards with a long history and a reputation for their ability to reveal the specific character of each appellation. “The Bourgogne Pinot Noir is the epitome of our vineyard and reflects the diversity of our soils. The many land faults that cross our property gave rise to many different types of terrain in regards to their nature, orientation, and age.” These grapes are grown from calcareous soil. The wine is aged first in stainless steel vats, then in wooden barrels or casks. Tasting Notes: Very intense color, with hints of ruby. This wine offers a wide palette of aromas dominated by morello cherry and red fruits. After several months, hints of smoke and leather appear. Its structure is finely balanced with harmonious tannin. This wine may be enjoyed young and it is also ideal for laying down.
