Reynolds Family Persistence Red Wine 2020, Napa Valley, California

The Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Merlot all come from the Reynolds Families ‘Persistence Property’ over on the border of Coombsville and Oak Knoll. Syrah is sourced fruit from a vineyard in Oakville. Winemaker Notes: “Our flagship wine never disappoints, and 2020 is no exception. Ascending to new heights, it is nature’s generous gift from an astoundingly good vintage. Deep indigo hues coat the glass, as heady aromatics fill the senses. Ripe red, black and blue fruits and berries fuse with savory smoked meats and spices, Kalamata olives, baking spice, and hints of dark and milk chocolate. Dark, dense, and full-bodied, its mouthfeel is potent yet hardly overbearing. The finish is long and lively, with flavors and sensations that leave a lasting impression. This decadent offering is a meal unto itself. However, should you opt to find a fare companion, its bright acidity lends itself naturally to a perfect pairing for a multitude of foods.” – winery.
