The Mercurey from Maison Louis Jadot is a very colourful, fleshy and firm wine. Its bouquet develops aromas of red fruits (cherry, morello cherry) and spices. The palate is harmonious, the tannins nicely integrated. Founded in 1859, Maison Louis Jadot controls 150 ha of vineyards in Burgundy, including 70 ha in the Côte d’Or: the Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot, the Domaine Louis Jadot, the Domaine Gagey and the Domaine du Duc de Magenta. Since its creation, the House of Louis Jadot has developed harmoniously in all the Burgundy appellations, from the grands crus to the regional appellations, expressing through its wines a true Burgundy, turned towards the future and proud of its origins.
