100% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines of Vina Cobos are the result of a shared dream inspired by the passion of an American winemaker (Paul Hobbs) and two partners from a wine-producing culture deeply rooted in European traditions. Vina Cobos Winery faces the Tupungato, the great mountain whose name means ‘Stone Guard’ in the indigenous language. The design for the state-of-the-art facility uses large, simple, geometric forms; open space and natural light to complement the majesty of the landscape. Felino Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 comes from vineyards in Valle de Uco and Lujan de Cuyo. Altitude between 2,306 and 3,927 feet elevation. Fermented with selected and native yeasts in 8- and 17- ton closed-top stainless-steel tanks. Aged in American oak barrels (10% new) for 8 months. Bottled in February 2020. Unfined “Deep ruby red. On the nose, aromas of forest fruits are complemented by spicy notes. The flavors on the palate are round and concentrated, supported by firm tannins that indicate maturity and balance.” – From the Winery
