Chateau du Trignon ‘M’ Muscat de Beaumes de Venise 2013, 500ml, Rhone Valley, France

100% Muscat Petit Grain. 100% hand-harvested. Yellow color, with light green glints. Nose with lemon and pineapple aromas. Mouth: citrus and pears. Real vivacity. Really well balanced. Easy to drink, as an aperitif but also with desserts with fruits, almonds or chestnuts. Also, do not hesitate to propose it as a chaser, to nicely end the evening. The vineyards of Chateau du Trignon, one of the most important properties of the region, nestle at the foot of the famous limestone cliffs of the Dentelles de Montmirail. The wine estate of Château du Trignon was acquired in 1895 by Joseph Roux and run by his descendants until 2007, when Pascal Roux, a passionate winemaker, who had kept the quality of the wine at the highest levels, sold the vineyard to another esteemed Rhone Valley winemaker, Jerome Quiot, who also owns and runs Domaine du Vieux Lazaret in Chateauneuf du Pape and Domaine Houchart in Provence.
