Sass Winery is located in the South Salem Hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The hazy, warm days and cool nights of autumn help the fruit develop intense, complex layers of flavor and aroma that produce wonderfully rich, elegant and forward wines. Walnut Ridge Vineyard: Volcanic and sedimentary soils; mostly south and west exposure; 450-700 feet elevation; vine age 5-11 years. Apple and pear with citrus and lovely minerality. Elegance and crisp balance. Barrel-fermented in neutral French oak and stainless steel.
