Revelry The Limited Edition Reveler Red Wine 2019, Columbia Valley, Washington

Since the first release of the 2007 vintage, ‘The Reveler’ has embodied a non- traditional approach to blending. Each vintage is uniquely its own, the only rules being the wine is comprised entirely of only the original Bordeaux varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot – and each release is better than the last. The ‘Limited Edition’ release is a hand-crafted, small batch bottling from the best parcels of select vintages. Following the selection of barrels for inclusion in the Aerials Series wines, the remaining Bordeaux varietal wine is then used in part to create this blend. With meticulous care taken at every phase of the winemaking process ‘The Limited Edition’ is dense and dark with incredible weight and texture. Flavors of dark berry compote and dark cacao are complimented with incredible textures reminiscent of old world wines. This is an age-worthy and very food friendly wine that will not disappoint, with a finish that will have you coming back for more.
