Since their creation in the 1990s, the Moulin de Gassac wines are the fruit of a meeting between magnificent Mediterranean vineyards and Daumas Gassac savoir-faire. Sun drenched grapes, cultivated in perfect harmony with nature are meticulously selected, then subtly brought together to produce a unique range of wines. Color: Lively, vivid rose pink. Some salmon glints. Nose: Pleasant, intense, floral and mineral. Palate: Well-balanced with freshness combining red currants and berries. Finish: Splendidly fresh and long. Soil type: Clay and limestone terroir close to the Thau Lagoon, around the village of Pinet. A very special terroir, benefiting from the Mediterranean sea influence, thus producing remarkably fresh wines. Grape varieties: Grenache (40%), Carignan (40%), & Syrah (20%). Vinification: 100% destemmed. Direct pressing. Aged 5 to 6 months in stainless steel tank. Drink within 2 years after bottling.
