Miner Pinot Noir 2019, Garys’ Vineyard, Santa Lucia Highlands, Monterey County, California

Miner is a family-owned winery tucked along the eastern hills of the Oakville appellation in the heart of Napa Valley. Impressed by the world-class grapes grown by Gary Pisoni and Gary Fransconi, Miner began sourcing fruit from Monterey’s Santa Lucia Highlands in 1997. This well-known and loved vineyard is marked by sandy loam soils, dense fog and coastal winds and backed by fastidious growing practices. Made in a Burgundian style, Garys’ Pinot Noir is richly textured with bright cherry flavors, balanced by subtle oak. Aged 15 months in 60% new French oak barrels.
