Miner Merlot, Stagecoach Vineyard 2019, Napa Valley, California

Miner Family Vineyards is a dynamic family owned winery tucked into the eastern hills of the Oakville appellation, squarely within the heart of Napa Valley. The wings of the Miner label serve as an homage to family, heritage and place. The Miner Family wine label is based on an ancient Assyrian relief in the image of a Winged Sun God. This symbol represents the brilliant light of the sun, which illuminates the life of mankind while providing energy and warmth to the grape vines. It also represents abundance and prosperity and brought life and health to the vines of the family’s distant ancestors. 2019 vintage – Challenged by the rocky volcanic soils of this mountainous vineyard site, the vines at Stagecoach produce fruit of extraordinary quality and intensity. This meticulously farmed property is hand-picked according to the winemaker’s specifications. Loaded with rich ripe fruit and spice notes with touches of tasty oak, this Merlot has a nice grip from fine tannins on the lengthy finish. 81% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc. 100% Stagecoach Vineyard.
