Michael David Winery Inkblot Cabernet Franc 2021, Lodi, California

The first Lodi Cabernet Franc wine ever produced by Michael David Winery, and one of the few produced from Lodi. This varietal originated from the Bordeaux and Loire Valley regions of France and has been grown with success in many other countries. The grapes for this wine come from a 9 acre vineyard located on the west side of Lodi, no more than a stone’s throw away from the winery. 2021 vintage – Showing complex aromas o freshly crushed blackberry, plum, pepper and tobacco. It offers black cherry on the mid-palate and a touch of graphite on the finish. Velvet smooth tannins, dense and rich this wine fills every corner of the mouth with its decadence.
