2021 – 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 25% Malbec, 5% Barbera. AVA – 93% Mendocino, Pauli Ranch, 7% Rockppile. Oak: 10% new French, 90% neutral. All of the fruit was gently destemmed and crushed, then inoculated. Each fermentation was pumped-over twice daily, with the temperature peaking at 90º F. Maceration from 12 to 28 days, barrel aged 20 months. Lapis Luna (Latin for ‘Stone and Moon’) Wines stunning labels introduce the drinker to ‘the faceless hero, a timeless story of struggle, aspiration, and redemption.
