Color: Deep claret. Aromas: Candied cherry, chocolate, and vanilla. Flavors: Blackberry, boysenberry, and plum, with a slight cedar spice. Structure: Consistently round fruit throughout the palate with integrated tannins and a cleansing finish. Vineyard sources: Solaksen Vineyard – Royal Slope AVA 60%: Solaksen Vineyard is a unique site, located atop the Frenchman Hills on the Royal Slope of Lawrence Vineyards. The Lawrence family has been farming the Royal Slope for over 40 years and developed their first vineyard block in 2003. Four Feathers Vineyard – Horse Heaven Hills AVA 40%: Four Feathers Vineyard is located in the Columbia Valley AVA of Washington, Since the 1880s, Four Feathers has continued to grow over the years, producing powerful, classic reds.
