Jadot Santenay Premier Cru Maladiere, Domaine Prieur-Brunet 2021, Burgundy, France

The most recent addition to the Louis Jadot stable, the original Prieur family estate was established in 1804 in the heart of Santenay by brothers Claude and Jean with the vineyards of the Brunet family in Meursault were combined to make Domaine Prieur-Brunet in 1955 when their descendant Guy Prieur married Elizabeth Brunet. The Maladiere climat is located mid-slope, between 300 and 320 metres altitude, with our 5ha of vines including some vines older than 50 years. Winemaking: Fermentation takes place in oak barrels, after which the wine is aged in casks for 12 months before being bottled.
