Beaune Boucherottes is one of 36 Premier Cru vineyards in the Beaune appellation. Beaune Boucherottes lies at the southern end of the commune, where it shares a border with Pommard. The deep clay soil of this 21-acre vineyard gives lushness to the wine, which is fermented in stainless steel, then matured in oak barrels for 12 to 15 months before bottling. Tasting notes: A full-bodied, aromatic Pinot Noir with a rich roundness of fruit and plump texture arrayed around a rigorous structure. This wine will develop favorably in the bottle for 12 to 15 years.
