Dunham Three Legged Red wine 2021, Washington State

“Each year, Dunham Cellars blends a portion of its wines into this red table wine. Featuring fruit from our estate vineyards and using the same barrels in which we age our finest Cabernet, Merlot and Syrah, we are able to maintain the consistent high quality of our top wines, while creating a great everyday wine that is price-friendly.” – from the Winery. Named for the Winemaker’s (Eric Dunham) dog named ‘Port’, who was rescued (as a puppy) from a dog fight and returned to health. The puppy had lost a leg, but found a home. With only 3 legs, and 2 on the port side, he was named ‘Port’. Using grapes from some of the finest vineyards in the Walla Walla, Yakima and Columbia Valleys, Dunham Cellars has established an award-winning reputation for their wines. The winery makes its home in a rustic, remodeled World War II era airplane hangar in Walla Walla.
