Domaine Huguenot is in the town of Marsannay-La-Côte, in Côte d’Or, 5km south of Dijon. It is the first winemaking town in the famous Côte de Nuits. Winegrowers for several generations, the domain has grown over the years, and today cultivates 23 hectares of vineyards, spread over the municipalities of Marsannay, Fixin and Gevrey-Chambertin. The charming small town of Fixin (pronounced Fissin) is located in Côte de Nuits between Marsannay-La-Côte and Gevrey-Chambertin. Fixin – Blanc d’Argiles: This magnificent and very rare white wine presents a pale golden color with gorgeous shiny reflections. Presenting notes of white flowers, the nose increases in intensity with hints of pepper and citrus. The palate is round, and suave, and very fresh thanks to the refined tension and minerality. Taste it after a few years of ageing, it will become all the more charming! Grape vatiety: Chardonnay, 100%. Manual harvesting, selective sorting in the vineyards, then on a vibrating table. Ageing: 12 months in 500-liter oak barrels. Terroir: Clayey and or loamey-clayey sandy soils, very thick, and slightly calcareous. Age of the vines: 5-15 years. Certified Organic.
