Brocard Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2020, Burgundy, France

Terroir: Les Clos, which is the cradle of Chablis vineyards, is the largest of the Grands Crus. Due to its open Southern exposure, this terroir yields generous wines, which are full bodied and with a very long finish. Tasting: Lemony, vanilla, salt. Nice texture, is characterized by its smoothness with elegance. Jean-Marc Brocard – Born in 1946 in Chaudenay-le-Château in Côte d’Or from a family of farmers, Jean-Marc Brocard followed the advice of his father and moved away from agriculture, whose future was not certain in the late 60’s. He chose a HND in engineering and became an engineer at Auxerre. Then he met his future wife and in-laws, winegrowers in Saint-Bix-le Vineux, and started working with the vine and wine. In 1973, with the birth of son Julien, Jean-Marc planted his first vines in Prehy, where he built his winery a few years later. The Domaine, Jean-Marc Brocard, is situated int he center of Chablis vineyards.
