Jean-Marc Brocard – Born in 1946 in Chaudenay-le-Château in Côte dOr from a family of farmers, Jean-Marc Brocard followed the advice of his father and moved away from agriculture, whose future was not certain in the late 60s. He chose a HND in engineering and became an engineer at Auxerre. Then he met his future wife and in-laws, winegrowers in Saint-Bix-le Vineux, and started working with the vine and wine. In 1973, with the birth of son Julien, Jean-Marc planted his first vines in Prehy, where he built his winery a few years later. The Domaine, Jean-Marc Brocard, is situated int he center of Chablis vineyards.
