Pride Mountain Vineyards Syrah 2021, Sonoma County, California

The 2021 Syrah is made up of 99% Syrah, 1% Viognier. The 2021 Syrah hails from the young vines in our Sunset Vineyard block, situated on a northwest-facing exposition that captures afternoon breezes and the setting sun. The wine is intensely aromatic with fresh red and black fruits, whole cluster spiciness, bergamot tea, menthol, and black pepper. The layered palate has a pleasing weight from start to finish, elevated by a steadily building brightness. What makes is most intriguing is the range of savory flavors that complement the gorgeous depth of fruit.
