Second generation winemaker Greg Powers has a deep affinity for the Columbia Valley and its viticulture. He grew up in the region’s spectacular farm country and helped his father Bill plant and manage Badger Mountain Vineyard. Powers wines are creatively blended and crafted to showcase Washington State’s distinctive vineyards and robust and diverse microclimates. 2019 vintage – Rich aromatics of blackberry, plum, wet slate, and violets press into a palate of ripe raspberry, cocoa, and luscious black licorice. A robust and generous finish with well-rounded tannins create a beautifully smooth mouthfeel dappled with lingering spices. Vineyard/ Blend: 90% Syrah Ravenscliff Vineyards. Aging: 100% French oak aging, 15% in new 500L large format barrels for milder oak impact, 5% new French oak, 80% neutral French oak, aged for 30+ months.
