Jadot Beaune Theurons Premier Cru 2022 Famille Gagey, Burgundy, France

The vineyards of the Beaune appellation include 36 Premiers Crus, thanks to their situation on sloping hillsides well exposed to the sun. Les Theurons consists of four vineyard parcels on the slope above the city of Beaune, at the dividing line between the lighter northern and the fuller southern Premiers Crus. The Pinot Noir fruit is fermented in vats for up to one month, and then the wine is matured in oak barrels for 12 to 15 months before bottling. Tasting notes: Beaune Theurons is considered one of the finest Premiers Crus in the commune. Its aromatic bouquet, full body, fine structure and generous fruit culminate in a lingering finish. This wine will develop favorably in the bottle for 10 to 15 years.
