Located in Riquewihr, the jewel of the Alsace vineyard, the village is an object of enchantment that has lasted for centuries. Its layout and structure have not changed since the Middle Ages. The 68-acre vineyard worked by Dopff & Irion is extremely well-situated. With the different types of soil and the varied climate, the estate is able to produce rich, powerful and complex wines. The Cuvee Rene Dopff line is produced with the grapes brought by 200 selected vine-growers. The temperate climate guaranteed a full ripening of the vines and preserved the perfectly healthy state of the grapes. This successful harvest boasts quality as well as quantity. The healthy vineyards produced grapes of excellent maturity and resilient acidity. 100% Pinot Blanc. Pale-yellow color. Fruity (white plum, peach) and fresh nose, with smoked flavors. Round and soft, well-balanced, with a nice freshness. Fresh fruit aromas.
