Teutonic Wine Company Seafoam White Wine 2021, Columbia Gorge, Oregon

Influenced by the Middle-Mosel Valley in Germany and the Alsace region in France, Teutonic Wine Company celebrates the characteristics of these wine regions here in Oregon. Only working with cool-climate growing sites, adhering to natural farming practices and minimal intervention, Teutonic wines reflect all that is natural in winemaking, from the vineyard, to the cellar, and to the bottle. Teutonic’s house style is consistent throughout its catalog of wines – crisp, bright and with balanced acidity. The 2021 vintage of Seafoam is a rosé of Pinot Noir. This wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir fruit. It’s picked and pressed right away to make a white wine. However, this year’s vintage turned out a little pinkish salmon colored, so you can certainly call it a Rosé. It’s vibrant, electric and zippy and will make a great summer sipper.Teutonic is a member of the DRC (Deep Roots Coalition), a group that promotes “sustainable and terroir-driven viticulture without irrigation”.
