This is an exceptionally crafted white wine that is equally at home paired with al fresco light bites or next to the pool in an ice bucket. A beautiful floral bouquet leads to white peach and pear notes on the palate. Not lacking in complexity, this lighter-bodied white has enticing saline and mineral notes that beg to be paired with fatty tuna, raw shellfish, or even sweet and spicy pork belly. Great acid and an almost chalky mouthfeel make this balanced white great to enjoy now, but this wine, much like some of its European counterparts, has a surprising amount of ageability. 330 cases produced. Teutonic Wine Company is one of Oregon’s most innovative producers of Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Noir and a few other esoteric, traditionally European grapes. Winemaker Barnaby Tuttle takes pleasure in making complex, balanced wines and has a knack for crafting wines that evoke the best the old world has to offer.
