Tamber Bey Cabernet Sauvignon 2018, Deux Chevaux Vineyard, Yountville, California

Tamber Bey, located on the spectular Sundance Ranch, the largest working horse ranch within the Napa wine growing region and home to over 45 horses – including 25 rescue horses. This wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Tamber Bey’s Deux Chevaux Vineyard in Yountville. Estate-grown and bottled. This wine is a classic Napa valley-floor Cabernet Sauvignon, with richness and wellbalanced, approachable elegance. The initial impressions of the Deux Chevaux Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon are numerous, with black raspberry, cassis, pencil lead, crushed rock, and cigar box intermingled with a touch of allspice. The aromatics pair well with the taste of graphite, blackberry, cassis, vanilla bean, crushed rock, and a spice mix of clove, nutmeg and allspice. Finishing texture is focused and muscular, with firm tannins that persist for a lengthy finish.
