Tamber Bey Cabernet Sauvignon 2016, Deux Chevaux Vineyard, Yountville, California

Tamber Bey, located on the spectular Sundance Ranch, the largest working horse ranch within the Napa wine growing region and home to over 45 horses – including 25 rescue horses. This wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Tamber Bey’s Deux Chevaux Vineyard in Yountville. Estate-grown and bottled. This wine is a classic Napa valley-floor Cabernet Sauvignon, with richness and wellbalanced, approachable elegance. Winemaker Notes: First impressions of dark plum, blackberry and confectionary notes of cocoa with coffee grounds evolve from the glass. These aromatics, paired with notes of allspice and vanilla, provide a subtle preview into the mouthfeel of the wine. Flavors of crème de cassis, toasted vanilla, and boysenberry are layered with chalky tannins that provide a lengthy finish. The Deux Chevaux Vineyard is a 60-acre vineyard situated in the Yountville Appellation, northeast of the town of Yountville. The vineyard is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Chardonnay. Deux Chevaux is French for “two
horses,” which is the namesake of Tamber Bey.
