The Willamette Valley is Oregon’s most recognized appellation for cool climate varietal wines, and it is in the Northern part of this region where the finest vineyards are found – an epicenter known as the “North Valley”, which includes all of the defined sub-appellations. It is from within this region of rolling hillsides, diverse soils and microclimates, that fruit is sourced for this Pinot Noir. These bottlings eiptomize Oregon terroir. They are a reflection of the unique climate, geographical features, and growing conditions that make this region one of the most privileged places to grow wine in the world. Traditional vinification in small, open top fermenters. 20% whole cluster. 10% new oak. Aromas: Fresh raspberry & strawberry, white pepper. Primary flavors: bing cherry, pomegranate. Secondary flavors: Spice box, orange citrus. Finish: Smooth, tart, polished.
