“The 2015 Archimage is an incredible blend of 57% Cabernet Franc and 43% Merlot. It was aged for 20 months in 40% new French oak. Our Estate fruit from the Walla Walla, Red Mtn., and Horse Heaven Hills AVAs make up the majority of this exceptional blend. It has a gorgeous, deep garnet color, with savory, spicy, and dramatic aromatics, combined with pretty floral notes from the Cabernet Franc. A rich, plush mouthfeel, balanced with terrific acidity, leads to flavors of dark cherries, toffee, tobacco leaf, graphite, and anise, and the refined tannins give this wine an extremely long finish. Drink this over the next 15-20 years! ” – From the Winery. Sleight of Hand Cellars was launched in 2007 by Jerry and Sandy Solomon, along with Trey Busch, who had been making the wines for a small Walla Walla winery. Sleight of Hand Cellars has but one focus, and that is to craft exceptional wines from exceptional vineyards in the state of Washington.
