2018 vintage – 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 6% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc, 7% Petit Verdot, 4% Petit Verdot, 1% Malbec. Primary growing regions: Mendocino, Sonoma, and Napa counties. Vineyards: The grapes for Silver Palm Cabernet Sauvignon come excllusively from California’s North Coast AVA, which includes Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino counties. The region is profoundly influenced by cool coastal air and fog from the Pacific Ocean, resulting in temperate vineyard microclimates ideal for the cultivation of beautiful tasting Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark ruby in color, with aromas of black currants, anise, tobacco, and dark chocolate. Flavors of blackberries, cherries, cocoa and toasty oak are complimented by round, soft tannins, leading to a silky, linngering finish.
