Sass Winery is located in the South Salem Hills of Oregon’s Willamette Valley. The hazy, warm days and cool nights of autumn help the fruit develop intense, complex layers of flavor and aroma that produce wonderfully rich, elegant and forward wines. Walnut Ridge Vineyard: Volcanic and sedimentary soils; mostly south and west exposure; 450-600 feet elevation; vine age 5-11 years. Apple blossom with citrus, nice minerality and a persistent melon/guava undertone. Elegance and wonderful balance. Barrel-femented in neutral French oak and stainless steel.
