Philip Togni Estate Bottled Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, Napa Valley, California

Philip Togni Vineyard is located at 2000 feet near the top of Spring Mountain in Napa Valley. All of the wines made by Philip, his wife Birgitta, and daughter Lisa, are from their 25 acre vineyard, where they also live. Today, the blend of grapes is Margaux-inspired, with Cabernet Sauvignon as the base, blended with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot, all of which is grown at the estate. Togni is also one of the rare California Cabernet-based blends to be truly ageworthy, due to the steepness of the vineyards, low yields, traditional winemaking methods and integrity of Philip Togni.
