Petit Paveil 2019, Bordeaux, France

The vineyard of Paveil dates from the seventeenth century and belonged to the late eighteenth century to the Lords of Bretonneau, one of whose members married under the reign of Louis XV, a daughter of the Chevalier de Rauzan. In 1862, Baron Alfred de Luze bought this magnificent estate of 120 hectares and made his wines known all over the world. The Siberian winter of 1956 destroyed a large part of the vineyard and as early as 1960, Baron Geoffroy de Luze decided to restore its luster to the property. With its dapper character, both gourmet and refreshing, Petit Paveil is very elegant. The Bordeaux brand is there, marked by the uprightness and finesse that characterize it and just enough charm and roundness and more. Very beautiful intense, fruity and round with race and a sparkling finish.
