Pepper Bridge Estate Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Walla Walla Valley, Washington

“We have crafted a Cabernet Sauvignon every year since our inception in 1998, and it is most definitely a flagship wine for us. With each unique vintage, winemaker Jean-François Pellet utilizes a blend of Bordeaux varietals, styled to highlight the beauty and intricacy imparted by our area’s Cabernet Sauvignon fruit.” 2015 vintage – 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Malbec, 8% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot. 100% Walla Walla Valley. Wine aged in 100% French oak; 51% neutral, 49% new. “Layered aromas of dark, rich blackberry and black cherry compote are weaved with iron undertones. Hints of toasted hazelnut and purple flowers play a hand as well. Dense layers of dark, lush blackberry and black cherry give way to cinnamon and cocoa nibs on the palate. The finish is long with ample tannic structure, giving this vintage true cellaring potential.” – from the Winery
