“All sourced within Sonoma County, we searched for the highest quality fruit. The combined vineyards put all the best into your glass from our friendly neighborhood vineyards.” 2020 brought a good growing season with a warm Summer and few heat spikes in September. Grapes for this blend were picked at different times based on maturity. The resulting blend is a very fruit forward vintage with great aromas and flavors as a result. Tasting notes: From the fruity aromas to the lingering finish, this friendly red wine showcases the best of the blend. Aromas of blackberry, cherry and warm spice. Smooth tannins and light toasty oak notes frame the cherry and plum fruit. It is a medium-bodied harmonious wine with a round fruity finish. The blend: A singular combination of Merlot, Zinfandel and Sangiovese. Aged for 10 months in small American oak barrels, 25% new oak. This amount of time allows the wine to take on some complexity from the oak but not too much – this is an approachable wine with smoothness from start to finish.
