The Paradigm vineyard lies between the Yountville Hill and the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains. The vineyard lies solely on a northeast trending alluvial fan sourced from an unnamed drainage north of Hopper Creek. The material of the fan is clay, sand and rock fragments up to 5 inches in size. Most of the material is smaller that half an inch. The dark soil is rich in organic material. The five wines made at Paradigm are grown, produced, bottled, and aged at the winery in Oakville. All are aged in French Oak barrels for twenty months. The Rose of Merlot is pale salmon in color with aromas of fresh spring strawberries and dewy rose petals. Clean bright flavors across the palate in this refreshing crisp rosé! The fruit is ripe yet delicate. Mouthwatering balance makes you want another sip. Will pair delightfully with lighter fare or perfect on its own as the weather warms up. Very easy to drink and love.
