2017 – 100% Zinfandel. Grapes are estate grown from Paradigm vineyards. “Deep Garnet in hue with beautiful aromatics of ripe black raspberry, sweet toasty vanilla oak, and a touch of black pepper. Clean pure aroma and flavor profile. Very ripe robust mouthfeel with juicy lush fruit character and soft silky mild tannins. Stawberry jam and rhubarb come to mind. A delicious easy to love zinfandel.” – Winemaker: Heidi Peterson Barrett. The Paradigm vineyard lies between the Yountville Hill and the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains. The vineyard lies solely on a northeast trending alluvial fan sourced from an unnamed drainage north of Hopper Creek. Paradigm Winery is owned and managed by Ren and Marilyn Harris, two winegrowers with extraordinarily deep roots in Napa Valley. Paradigm began producing wine with the 1991 vintage. Ren and Marilyn hired a young and talented winemaker, Heidi Barrett, who has been with Paradigm since the beginning. They all felt a shared passion for making great wine, and a determination to preserve the small, family-owned style of winery that Napa Valley was built on.
