Mucho Mas Sauvignon Blanc 2022, Central Valley, Chile

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc grapes from two different locations. One parcel is taken from vineyards close to the Andes, in a western corner of Curicó, sitting at around 500 metres above sea level. The higher altitude means evening temperatures here drop significantly. And this allows the grapes to retain a bright acidity and fresh aroma as they ripen. This is then skilfully combined with another parcel from Cachapoal. Here, on lower ground in the warm valley, the variety gains more tropical fruit and body. The result is a white with a ripe fruit, freshness and mouthfilling weight. A great value Chilean white with true style and character, it’s ideal to quaff solo or with grilled seafood. Tasting notes: Ripe citrus fruit and a refreshing, racy acidity on the finish.
