Mount Hermon Red 2017, Golan Heights Winery, Galilee, Israel

Mount Hermon Red is produced from a blend of Bordeaux style varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The grapes were grown in vineyards on the Golan Heights, in the cold climate and high altitude that are unique to the region, and in the one vineyard in the Upper Galilee. The 2017 Mount Hermon Red displays attractive cherry and berry fruit characters, along with complex notes of herbs, spice, violets and earth. This flavorful blend makes for great everyday enjoyment. Ready to enjoy now, the 2017 Mount Hermon Red will remain in great drinking condition for about three years from vintage.
