2019 vintage – 100% Tempranillo. The grapes are macerated for several hours, after which the must separates from the skins, oozing out to begin the slow process of alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks. The wine is then stabilized by refrigeration treatment. No oak aging. Pale coral-pink color that conveys this wine’s personality and vibrant flavors. An appealing rosé for palates on the lookout for a lively, refreshing style with a hint of raspberry/strawberry fruit and silky-smooth sensations in the mouth. Founded in 1970, with its first release in 1975, Marqués de Cáceres has rapidly become the leader in the renaissance of Rioja. The bodega was established by Henri Forner, whose family has been active in the wine business for generations. The winery is named for a Spanish peer who was also an investor in the winery and a friend of Henri Forner.
