Lewis Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon Mason's 2019, Napa Valley, California

Former Indy car driver Randy Lewis, his wife, Debbie, and son, Dennis, are driven to create world class wines. This special bottling of Cabernet was named after Dennis’s 3rd son ‘Mason”. Fruit is sourced from Calistoga, St. Helena, Rutherford and Oak Knoll. The grapes are picked at full ripeness and maturity. Hand sorted and de-stemmed to small stainless steel tanks and open top fermenters, the wines are pressed off at dryness after 2-4 weeks on the skins. Aged primarily in new French oak for 19 months then bottled unfined and unfiltered. 2019 vintage – “With high school behind him and college on the horizon it’s all sunshine and blue sky for Mason. His 2019 bottling is 100% Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, seriously fruited with hi-tone boysenberry, cassis and café mocha. Plush and poised on the palate, the future is bright for this Mason’s Cabernet.” – Winery
