This wine was produced exclusively from grapes grown on the Keenan Estate located in Napa Valley’s Spring Mountain District. This single vineyard Cabernet Franc comes from the highest elevation vineyard (approximately 2000′), aptly named the ‘Upper Bowl”. The fruit was hand-picked. After de-stemming, the must was inoculated with Montrachet yeast and fermented in a stainless steel tanks. The wine aged in French and American oak barrels for 20 months. The 2015 Cabernet Franc shows a medium to deep garnet-purple color with vibrant red currants and cherries scents over lovely roses, lilac and bouquet garni nuances with a touch of dusty earth. Medium-bodied, finely crafted and fresh with lovely perfumed fruit, it has a long, mineral-laced finish.
