Aloxe-Corton is a small village belonging to the Côte de Beaune and located at the foot of the famous Corton hill. The wines produced in Aloxe-Corton usually have a nice aging potential and are often called the Corton little brothers. The grapes are destemmed, fermented in open tanks and aged in French oak barrels during 15 months before bottling. This wine is nicely concentrated, well-balanced with cherry aromas. it is the perfect companion to red roasted meat and small game. It may also be paired with cheese. The aging potential is very interesting. 5 years and more are recommended before fully enjoying this wine.
