Il Meridione Nero d’Avola 2021, DOC Sicilia,

Grapes are sourced from southern Sicily, around Riesi, Nero d’Avolas traditional heartland. Traditional fermentation is between 79oF to 86oF (26 degrees C to 30 degrees C) and between five to ten days maceration. This wine is bottled young with no oak aging. Tasting notes: A richly-flavored, spicy red with aromas of plum and black cherry. The ripe palate combines generous bramble fruit flavors with savory, lightly smoky characters, a hint of bitter chocolate and a nip of tannins on the finish.
