Sauvignon Blanc demands a cooler climate that will allow the distinctive flavors of the grape to mature and develop. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes come from the 18 year old vines on the winery property in the heart of the Russian River Valley. Half of this Sauvignon Blanc was cold fermented slowly in a stainless steel tank; the other half was fermented in their 5 best neutral French oak barrels for added complexity and softer mouth feel. The two halves were combined and then hand-bottled at the winery. This wine has good acidity and a lengthy finish. Winemaker: Jason De Loach.
