A tiny parcel of the surplus production from one of the most famous of all Sauternes vineyards. The Château does not make a second sweet wine, so this is made with the same noble grapes as the Grand Vin – which are picked individually on 7-10 separate occasions as the botrytis sets in – and are then aged in oak at the Château. 2015 was one of the great Sauternes vintages and the Grand Vin produced a legendary wine that will be talked about for decades. Rich and concentrated – it drinks exceptionally well now and will last for at least another 10 years. Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.
