The Vineyards represented in this bottling are a stellar representation of quality farming, mature vines and the distinct terroir of cool climates and distinctive soils that brings Pinot Noir to life. Ageing: 15% new French oak. 85% neutral French oak for 11 months. This Pinot offers up gorgeous red plum, raspberry and ripe pomegranate notes on the nose, backed up with brown baking spices and touches of caramelized baked goods. The palate is elegant and fresh, revealing a classic Willamette style that perfectly balances New World sunshine with Old World winemaking style. While it is not labeled as such, this is actually a single vineyard wine, entirely from the Seven Springs Vineyard in Eola Amity. The wine offers a depth of complexity and the backbone that you would expect from Eola Amity and while it drinks great now, has many more years in the cellar.Ehren Jordan is a true vigneron, with decades of combined experience in the cellars and vineyards from the Rhône Valley to Paso Robles, Sonoma County to the Willamette Valley, and just about everywhere in between.
